This extremely talented chef and successful restaurateur opened his pizzeria Montalto in July, 2011. Correa named his pizzeria after his friend and a big fan of pizza Lenny Montalto.

Along with his second name that you will see on the signboard of the pizzeria, this place has also its proprietary pizza called 'Smoking pie Lenny'. There is no mistake in the fact that a pizza is called a ‘pie’ and what’s more a ‘smoking’ one. It would be weirder if Isaac opened a regular pizzeria.

Clients may watch their dishes being cooked right from their tables.

An essential condition for making a good pizza is cooking it in a wood-burning stove.

Pizzas they serve here are crooked, angular, thick-crust and made of dough made up by Upside Down Cake Company confectioner Suki Maman. Naturally, there are plenty of fillings to choose from — well-known pie with scallops, brisket pork and fennel; ‘Muli’ with fried in the stove eggplant, homemade sausage, caramelized onion and mozzarella; the one with pear is unusual too — instead of blue cheese, they use goat cheese, fennel and pistachios.
