Place for lovers of modern art and the best cocktails in town
Right after its opening ceremony, Luch which is situated in a former electric bulb factory was nicknamed ‘Solyanka for adults’. The bar was launched by artist Yevgeny Mitta which explains the abundance of modern art in this two-storeyed building. Its old brick walls painted in white, 30-meter long bar and dark-colored furniture which seems to have been brought here from a perfect library serves as a perfect background for paintings, pictures, sculptures, installations by Vinogradov, Dubosarsky, Ostretsov, AES+А and other modern artists. Food and beverages they serve are equally great here. Cuisine has combined European and Pan-Asian dishes; the cocktail carte is one of the best in the city (you will be pleasantly surprised with how they serve their cocktails); sometimes, it comes to dancing.
Luch is a loft with extremely high ceilings, 30-meter long bar counter, modern art and Pan-Asian cuisine situated in a former electric bulb factory (which today, after being reconstructed, is called ‘Electrosvet’). Luch was launched by the founder of Paperworks and Suzy Wong Bar Yevgeny Mitta, with the support of his friends, artists Vinogradov and Dubosarsky, AES+F, Gosha Ostretsov, PG group and others each of whom has prepared a collection of works to be exposed in the bar.
