Over 150 years ago, its founder Ferdinand Hédiard would sell food by the statue of Louis XIV on the Place des Victoires right from his cart delighting Parisians with its content.
Several years later, he opened his first stall selling spices and colonial produce. His business was doing well so in 1880 he purchased a whole building on Place de la Madeleine where he founded his first gastronomic boutique and named it Hediard. Until today, this boutique remains the headquarters of the chain of Hediard stores located worldwide.
First Hediard store opened in Moscow in 2005.
Here you will find exotic products brought from different parts of the world or made according to proprietary recipes at Hediard factories: spices and sauces, vegetable oil and vinegar, syrups and marmalade, cheese and sausages, pates, tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate, wine, jam, jelly, stewed fruit, puree, candied fruits, bread, pastry and milk products.
The boutique features a café. Catering service and custom handmade presents are available.
