Encouraging dialogues between the artists, international audiences and institutions
The focus of the gallery is to exhibit, represent and champion an international group of contemporary artists. Originally focusing on Russian conceptualist artists the program has expanded to include artists working in Europe and the United States, such as Gary Hill and Bjørn Melhus, as well as emerging artists.
While the artists employ all mediums from painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and video, the gallery maintains a tendency towards conceptually driven artwork.
The gallery presents 10 exhibitions a year, participates in important art fairs around the world, including ARCO, Artforum Berlin, Artissima, and NADA, and publishes catalogues with full-color reproductions and scholarly essays on the gallery artists’ works, all done with the aim of encouraging dialogues between the artists, international audiences and institutions.
