Gagar.inn was launched by Vladimir Spektr, Edward Roizman and Valery Novak. The face of the club is Vladimir Spektr, a writer and party-goer whose book ‘Face Control’ where he reveals all ins and outs of the life of Moscow party-goers caused a lot of controversy.
Right by the entrance, you will come across associations with the club’s name – a three-meter tall bas-relief picturing Yuri Gagarin. The club’s interior features brick walls, large black windows and psychedelic tile in the restrooms. The huge wall-sized window near the dance floor offers a beautiful view of the factory backyard.
The club’s public includes not only those remembering the first human to journey into outer space. It is also Moscow’s first rave, habitués of Krysha and Partizen, even though the club is situated outside the Garden Ring. Perhaps, none of them will go there by underground.
Bar prices will be a bit high for regular students – the club’s policy implies relevant public.
Gagar.inn is a private club. Entrance to the club is possible either by presenting your club membership card on entry or if you are on a guest list. Yet, if you are confident that you will become the gem of the party, give it a try.
