A multi-character drama, Life In a Fishbowl is a window into life in Reykjavík before the 2008 financial crisis.

The film tells three different tales of three different people, all of whom end up having a lasting effect on one another in unexpected ways. A successful but severely alcoholic poet befriends a single mother who lives a double life and a former soccer star is recruited into the snake pit of international banking and loses touch with his family.
